Kevin had a guitar in his hands as a kid and began performing professionally at age10. Getting more serious as a guitarist, Kevin joined his first blues band with bassist John Mazzocco (former Bassist with John Lee Hooker). 

Studying Music Theory with Jazz Masters Larry Coryell and Jim Pepper; Kevin began performing in Portland Oregon with acclaimed bassists Ben Wolfe, Lester McFarland, country legend Furlin Husky and various other established musicians and Jazz Big Band ensembles throughout the West Coast of America. 

At 20 he hit the road with the band “The Ink Spots” and “The Coasters” from which he gained valuable experience. Subsequently moving to Seattle, Kevin formed his own Band with many of his own compositions. He worked the U.S. extensively, performing at various venues where his Blues Guitar and Vocal talents were at the forefront, culminating in the release of his debut album “Soul Purpose” in 1997.

Expanding his talents Internationally; Kevin performed with his Band headlining in-house at Harry’s Jazz Bar in Istanbul and working throughout the Mediterranean and European region. An opportunity arose in 2006 which allowed Kevin to secure tenure as the guitarist for the renowned club JJ’s at the Grand Hyatt in Hong Kong. 

Making home in Hong Kong, Kevin now writes, teaches and performs regularly both locally and regionally within Asia.
